Circa 1930s, walnut and amboyna tray top coffee table. With removable tray top that has a wrap-around gallery and 2 cut out lifting handles, and a centre veneered in amboyna and polished back. The coffee table underneath has a small raised caddy edge with a rounded corner, veneered in amboyna, and the tray sits inside it, making it sturdy. The sides are walnut grained and walnut veneered and there is a shaped apron that continues around on all 4 sides. It stands on 4 squat cabriole legs with simple quarter brackets and finishes on a pad foot.
