A superb quality mid-19th century Victorian burr walnut fold-over games table, crafted with exceptional attention to detail and striking decorative appeal. The table features a beautifully figured burr walnut veneered top with a shaped outline, opening to reveal a hand-dyed leather hide playing surface. Supported on a finely carved and pierced quadruple leg base with ornate scrolling detail, central finial, and castors for ease of movement.
The rich patina and flowing curves of the design reflect the opulence of the high Victorian period, making this table equally suited as a games table, side table, or elegant centrepiece.
