Circa 1890. A matched pair of stylish oak art nouveau chairs probably by ‘Liberty & Co. London’. The narrow tall uprights with a ribbed fore edge and elegant rectangular panel in the center, beneath this an elegant pierced lower back. The two curvaceous arms braced with quarter blocks, supported on the front by turned uprights, the solid shaped seat with a simple seat rail, the back legs are square and slightly out swept and front legs are turned and ring turned all united by conforming stretchers.

Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh. With 50,000sq ft over five floors we offer a wide range of quality Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian furniture, as well as continental and small decorative items. Our stock is constantly changing.
