    On turned front legs and attractively shaped backs with drop on seats. I have traditionally re-upholstered these chairs in a quality contemporary fabric.

     
    The chairs have a good patina and all the joints are sound.
     
    Dimensions: seat height 48cm. seat width 47cm. seat depth 40cm.
     
    Due to age, these chairs have some dings in the woodwork. One chair the back top rail has been repaired and another has a few old woodworm holes which seem to be inactive. All the chairs have had corner blocks fitted to secure the back legs, the original design of metal bolts to tighten the joints have succumbed to the passing of time and have seized. All the chairs have sustained damage to the backs, just above the seats; this could easily be professionally repaired without compromising the shape. ( photos show the worst damage)
    Having listed all the damage does not detract from the fact that these are an attractive set of matching chairs competitively priced.
