Antique Sheraton Mahogany Sideboard Buffet Server Inlay

You are viewing a gorgeous marquetry mahogany sideboard in the Sheraton manner. It's both a practical and decorative piece. They are great for displaying vases of flowers on, perhaps in an entrance hallway, and with the storage (two cupboards, two drawers) they are also good for storing items away from sight.

The piece is very elegant with the slimline legs and the curve to front of the desk and is the height of craftmanship. It's mind boggling when you think of the amount of work that goes into making something like this - especially the marquetry work where the individual designs have to be cut from softer wood and then embedded into the main wood of the structure.

In this case the marquetry has the traditional Sheraton motifs of garlands of flowers, drapes and classical urns. It's work of art that will give you and future generations endless pleasure and servitude!
