set of 10 hepplewhite style mahogany dining chairs

Circa 1910, set of 10 Hepplewhite style mahogany dining chairs consisting of 8 side chairs and 2 armchairs. The turned top rail with ends in almost in the form of folded paper, over a simple trellis work back with cross over stretchers and carved roundels in the centre. The armchairs have two sweeping carved and shaped arms, held in place by sturdy mahogany uprights with a panel in the centre. There is a large nicely patinated leather stuffover seat with a piped edge and close brass studded edge. All standing on square outswept back legs, and sabre front legs with a fielded panel running down the centre which is framed up by a ribbed section, and finishing on splayed raised toes.

Armchairs 95cm high x 63cm wide x 46cm deep. Side chairs are 92cm high x 53cm wide x 44cm deep.Most items include delivery anywhere in the UK mainland.
