scottish george iv mahogany sideboard

Circa 1820. A good George IV mahogany Scottish sideboard of generous proportions. With a low stage-back with brass uprights in each end (curtain rail), the front has an elegant drawer with two lion mask handles, drawer beneath with quilling facings, and each end has two massive bow fronted drawers, fitted out for wine, with fluted pilasters separating each of the drawers, all resting on six classic fluted tapering legs.

The business grew so rapidly, they couldn't keep up with their inventory needs. Their goal has been to create a one-stop-shop where designers can complete an entire project from antique lighting to antique furniture to accessories. Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh. With 50,000sq ft over five floors we offer a wide range of quality Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian furniture, as well as continental and small decorative items. Our stock is constantly changing.
