rare pair of elm occasional tables

Circa 1870, unusual pair of elm occasional tables. With oval shaped top in quarter sewn elm, and with matching figuring, there is a deep cross banded apron beneath the top and a crossover pin section to which the leg is attached. The leg is ring turned and bulbous from top to bottom and tapers before it gets to the base. The table stands on three elegant shaped cabriole legs with scrolling at the back and front. In the centre beneath the feet at the end there is a downward facing finial. Likely Swedish.
