Circa 1900. A diminutive Sheraton style mahogany and profusely inlaid demi-lune side table, the well decorated top with large classical urn with swags and tails made with several exotic timbers, with ebony and string inlay and rosewood banding, framed with boxwood, the frieze with inlays of swags and tails with a small drawer in the centre with a stylish cast brass knob handle, resting on four square tapering inlaid legs with harebells on the facings and a small shelf towards the base with an urn inlay with a concave front and sides, finishing on brass feet.

Georgian Antiques was founded in 1978 by John Dixon's brother Padriac in a small shop at Jocks Lodge, Meadowbank in Edinburgh, with John joining the business after finishing college in 1981. The business grew so rapidly, they couldn't keep up with their inventory needs. Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh. With 50,000sq ft over five floors we offer a wide range of quality Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian furniture, as well as continental and small decorative items. Our stock is constantly changing.
