Circa 1820, pair of Scottish painted armchairs. These large chairs have a shaped top rail finished on each side with simple turned finials, and vertical splats. With heraldic shields to the top of each chair, these have been hand painted and the chairs all retain original paint, with some wear. They finish on solid turned legs and united by stretchers.
