A pair of mahogany chairs from King Edward VII coronation, which was held in August 1902, the pair with simple top rail, spar back and drop in marram grass seat with simple seat rails, resting on four square legs, back legs slightly splayed, the legs braced by conforming stretchers, the back of each chair has a stamp on it ‘ERV11, a crown and coronation’ with one chair with another plaque; ‘Harold 198’ In excellent condition, sturdy with good colour and style.

Georgian Antiques was founded in 1978 by John Dixon's brother Padriac in a small shop at Jocks Lodge, Meadowbank in Edinburgh, with John joining the business after finishing college in 1981.
