Circa 1880, pair of French gilded fauteuils, with carved gilded wood frame with wonderful carved top rail. Back, arms and seat are upholstered with very fine original needlepoint and velvet. The arms are padded and carved and stylised. The chairs have a wonderful Rococo carved frieze on the front and stand on carved cabriole legs.
