A very elegant rosewood" bonheur du jour" from Napoléon III period.
This is truly a stunning piece with outstanding features: firstly, the superb rosewood veneering with its rich dark rosewood colour, contrasts extremely well with the superb brass inlays. This is always a sign of top quality.
There is a nice gallery at the top of the bonheur du jour. Beneath this, you have 2 brass inlaid drawers.
There is a central drawer, again brass inlaid, and supported by really fine splaid legs.
