Circa 1860 with alterations. Mid-Victorian figured walnut two-section, tall open bookcase. Surmounted by a shaped cornice above a simple frieze in figured walnut, the two bookcase sections each with five adjustable shelves flanking a central pilaster. The sides of the bookcase are rounded and all sitting on an enclosed moulded plinth base. In excellent condition. Clean lines - would suit a traditional or contemporary house.
