This is a large antique shipping chest. A Continental, aluminium travelling trunk, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910.
- Distinctive aluminium appearance, with a useful proportion
- Displaying a desirable aged patina throughout
- Aluminium panels reinforced with rivet bonded finish
- Each corner enhanced with steel cappings
- Ornamental clasp to the centre of the fascia — key absent
- Lid held securely by a pair of latches
