This is a large antique collector's dome. An English, glass and ebonised mahogany taxidermy or specimen showcase, dating to the Victorian period, circa 1870.
- Appealing Victorian example, with ideal proportion for desk or mantle display
- Presenting a desirable aged patina and in good original order
- Generously sized dome with a tall, wide proportion and clear, bright glass
- Cushion pad to the centre, dressed in a pleasingly textured, faux leather finish
- Raised upon an ebonised base with a trio of small bun feet
