This is a large antique buffet server. An English, mahogany side cabinet with display tiers, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1840.

• Striking buffet, with beautiful colour and open display shelves
• Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order
• Select stocks present fine grain interest throughout
• Delightful colour, with rich caramel hues beneath a wax polish finish
  
  
• Arranged as a trio of graduated tiers, supported upon fascinating C-scroll risers
• Upper tier finished with a distinctive wavy edge apron
• Generously sized, inset drawer to the mid point, with blind pull
  
  
• Pair of cabinet doors accentuated with carved leaf moulding
• Right hand door dressed with a brass lined, inset working lock — key present
• Left hand door opens to reveal a pair of plate slides, with a trio of shelves opposite
