Circa 1820. A quality George IV oval rosewood snap top breakfast table, the top in finely figured rosewood with carved fore-edge with a simple frieze with beading beneath, unusually the table opens on the length, which is held in place by a double brass clasp and brass pins, resting on a rosewood veneered block, all supported on a twisted stem with beadings on the facings, issuing four stylish and profusely carved feet with foliate carving on the knees, resting on four hairy paw feet with concealed castors beneath.
