Circa 1820 and later, George IV mahogany inlaid chest of small proportions on a later cabinet base. The chest has a flamed mahogany top with crossbanding and chequered ebony and boxwood inlay. Beneath the top is a combination of two short over three further graduating drawers. The drawers are lined with green felt and have small brass handles. The cabinet below has two panelled doors with small diamond shaped escutcheons. The whole piece stands on tall bracket feet. Excellent colour and very good condition. A good collectors cabinet.
