Circa 1800, George III mahogany linen press. The top has simple stylish Greek key decoration, and below is a simple moulding and a flamed mahogany apron. The 2 doors have flamed mahogany panels, a brass beading and rounded escutcheons. The doors open to reveal a large and deep interior, the shelves removed with a brass rail put in for hanging. Below the top section is a simple moulded edge and a configuration of 2 short drawers over 2 longer graduating drawers with cast brass knob handles, all standing on elegant raised bracket feet. Good colour and condition.
