Circa 1730, George II burr walnut chest on stand, the moulded cornice above a cushion moulded frieze with secret drawer, over an unusual configuration of a pair of short drawers, a long drawer, a further pair of short and a final long drawer all with beautifully figured burr walnut fronts with herringbone crossbanding and pierced brass handles; the stand with a long drawer flanked by deep short drawers, over a shaped apron, raised on barley twist legs joined by a wavy stretcher and ending on bun feet. (With alterations).
