You are viewing an amazing French Empire style roll top desk. I hope the photos do this stunning piece some justice, it's certainly more impressive in the flesh and would make for a great addition to any home interiors scheme. There is a wealth of amazing cabinet making here, alongside the use of other materials including the marble plaques and the gorgeous ormolu fixtures including the eye catching cherub supports to the legs. The roll top has some intricate marquetry inlay work showing musical instruments and above this is the glass fronted display section. The roll top opens out to reveal the writing surfaces and cubby holes. This is offered in great condition ready for home use right away and we will ship to anywhere in the world. We bought this from a dealer in Montmartre Paris whilst on a recent French buying trip. Get your bids in early, this unique piece won't be hanging around for long.
