free-standing oak hallstand

Circa 1900. An unusual dark stained oak square tapering free standing hall stand. The four uprights topped with an elegant finial, with oxidized brass single and double hooks on all sides, some of the hooks is stamped ‘British made’. As the uprights taper down, they are intersected by four stretchers which form the stick and umbrella holder. In the base there is a green metal lift out drip pan, resting on a platform base with a simple moulded fore-edge. All resting on four shaped downward facing saber legs.

Their goal has been to create a one-stop-shop where designers can complete an entire project from antique lighting to antique furniture to accessories. Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh. With 50,000sq ft over five floors we offer a wide range of quality Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian furniture, as well as continental and small decorative items. Our stock is constantly changing.
