An exceptionally fine quality faded flame mahogany breakfront French Louis XVI commode decorated with superb ornate ormolu mounts and banding. This fine commode is a very well proportioned piece of furniture with boxwood inlay and banded in tulip wood.
Having two oak lined breakfront drawers with all its original ormolu this French commode is in very good condition circa 1780.
