The back rest features a simple double panel design underneath a hand carved relief that stretches across the width of the chair. Leaf motifs and scrolls decorate the top edge of the upright section, sitting over two turned front legs and simple yet elegant squared rear legs.This beautiful piece adds a touch of class and character to a bedroom, study or hallway area.Period: Elizabeth I.
