A fine quality Edwardian mahogany wardrobe by Robson & Sons, Newcastle-on-Tyne, renowned 19th- and early 20th-century cabinetmakers. The wardrobe features twin panelled doors framed with satinwood stringing beneath a deep cornice with dentil moulding. The interior is fitted with a brass hanging rail and hooks, ideal for full-length garments. Constructed in richly figured mahogany with a mellow patina, this wardrobe combines elegant simplicity with solid craftsmanship typical of Robson & Sons.
