Queen Anne Style Walnut Cabinet on Stand

A fine Queen Anne style walnut cabinet on stand, circa 1900, of elegant proportions and rich colour. The upper section features an arched cornice above a pair of astragal-glazed doors opening to a shelved interior, ideal for displaying treasured items. Below, the base is fitted with an arrangement of three short drawers above a long drawer, all retaining their brass plate handles and escutcheons. The whole is raised on well-turned baluster legs united by shaped stretchers, terminating in bun feet.
This piece combines the refinement of early 18th century design with practicality, making it a versatile addition to both traditional and contemporary interiors.
