This is an antique pier cabinet. An English, walnut and boxwood inlaid display cupboard, dating to the Regency period, circa 1820.

• An attractive cabinet, presenting beautifully with fine colour
• Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order
• Select walnut shows fine grain interest and deep caramel hues
• Accentuated with superb boxwood stringing throughout

• Front fascia accentuated with superb scrolled foliate marquetry
• Adorned with ormolu mounts to each corner, framing the cabinet door
• Bright glazed door dressed with ormolu lock escutcheon — in working order, key present

• The fully lined interior resplendent in the original velvet upholstery
• Offers a single shelf with graduated height above and below
• Standing upon four bracket feet with a delightful serpentine apron
