This is an antique personal bedside nightstand. An English, flame mahogany and marble overnight valet or jardiniere stand, dating to the Victorian period, circa 1860.

• Striking column form with superb figuring and colour
• Displays a desirable aged patina and in very good order
• Select flame stocks show fine grain interest and rich caramel hues
• Cool and tactile white marble plinth to the circular top

• Of bold form, the tiered lid opens to aid access to the pair of cabinet doors
• Finished to the reverse with shapes shelves, over a recessed steel bin
• Delightful copper and flame lid with concentric border finish covers the removable bin
• Raised upon a stout plinth base with distinctive faceted collar
