This is an antique newspaper rack. A French, brass, copper and walnut two-segment magazine stand, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.

• A pleasingly intricate and skilfully executed tabletop newspaper stand
• Displays a desirable aged patina and in good original order
• Brass rails present serpentine forms and tasteful golden hues
• Supported upon a walnut base, with rich caramel hues and fine figuring
  
  
• Tall central arched handle hosts a fine wire divider between the pair of segments
• Outer segment accentuated with machine turned copper plates
• Usefully flexible outer segments can accommodate slightly wider titles
• Standing upon a quartet of broad brass feet, splayed to each corner
