This is an antique Lion Rampant doorstop. An English, cast iron decorative heraldic door keeper, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1880.
- Robust and generously sized, with iconic lion form
- Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
- Pleasingly heavy cast iron form, with a weight of 5.025kg (11.07 lb)
- Presented with a good, consistent graphite finish throughout
- Appealing detail to the flowing mane and powerful body
- Raised upon a vault base with scrolled motif
