Superb Antique Late Victorian Inlaid Mahogany Double Wardrobe by Maples & Co and dating from around 1890. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a cornice top with dental moulding above a deep inlaid frieze and above two wide doors with bowed sides with beautifully inlaid panels of various fruitwoods and ebony and with two shaped mirrors to the centre set within mahogany surrounds with superb chequered inlay and with ornate gilt brass handles. Internally the wardrobe is divided into two full length hanging sections with brass rails. To the base there are two deep drawers both of which are mahogany lined with original ornate brass handles and having inlaid stringing. It stands on a deep plinth base and separates for ease of transporting.

Measures: 84" high x 24" Deep x Internal depth 20" x 67" wideA Superb Antique Mahogany Wardrobe by Maples & Co complete with its original Maples Badge and in very good original condition with a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period.
