This is an antique gentleman's drawing room armchair. An English, mahogany elbow chair in Chippendale taste, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.

• Serpentine arms terminate in scrolled knuckles, and skilfully accentuated with relief carving

• Traditionally stuffed cushion sits at a comfortable height of 47.5cm (18.75'')
• Tastefully accentuated with brass press stud finish across the shaped apron line
• Square section front legs with gently canted legs to the rear, united with stretcher rails
