    Antique ANTIQUE EARLY VICTORIAN OAK ARMCHAIR C1840 W7083/1.10

    Antique Early Victorian Upholstered Oak Armchair and dating from around 1840. It has a deep padded back rest within a squared oak frame with shaped and downswept armrests with carved acanthus leaf to the scrolled handrest and on turned and block supports. It has a deep upholstered stuff over seat and stands on turned and block legs joined by turned and block stretchers. It is covered in a flock Damask fabric totally in keeping with the chair.

     
    Measures: 48" high x seat height 17" x 31" deep x 26" wide
     
    A lovely early Victorian oak armchair in very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the quality oak and oozing all the charm and character of the period.
