This is an antique carved lamp table. An Anglo-Indian, teak tilt-top colonial table, dating to the Victorian period, circa 1850.

• Superb quality, with excellent carved detail and a tilting top
• Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
• Teak stocks show superb grain interest and dark russet hues
• Profusely carved throughout with impressively crafted forms

• Fascinating wavy top adorned with a banded edge moulding
• Pierced fretwork apron hosts bunches of carved fruiting vines
• Brass clasp releases the top, articulating to its upright position

• Turned baluster support column with elaborate carved knees
• Striking tri-form base profusely decorated with foliate motif
• Each leg terminates in distinctive scrolled scallop shell toes
