This is an antique bow front corner cabinet. An English, mahogany and oak wall cupboard, dating to the Georgian period, circa 1770.

• Superb craftsmanship and figuring to this fine Georgian example
• Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
• Select stocks show delightful grain interest and rich russet hues
• Oak lined interior presents and an abundance of medullary rays

• Prominent moulded cornice tapers gracefully
• Pair of bow front doors dressed with ornate brass escutcheons and H-shaped hinges
• Benefits from a working lock to right-hand door —key present
• Sliding hook and eye retains the left-hand door when closed

• Arrangement of three shelves to the interior with graduated shelf height
• Useful trio of drawers to the lower edge, each with small brass pull
• Tapered front plinth arches around the foot of the cabinet
• Of floorstanding form, with a depth of 53cm (20.75'') when situated in the corner of the room
