A Rare & Beautiful 240 Year Old Continental Antique Fruitwood Canterano Chest of Drawers. Made in 18th Century Italy during our reign of King George III in around 1780 to a lovely standard. The wonderful moulded arched edge and shaped top over three long drawers that are depicting six drawers. The drawer fronts with fielded panel fronts and large brass escutcheons and flanked by canted squares column supports. The entirety decorated with parquetry inlay. Made to lovely large proportions and to the highest standard. it will stand proud any room.

The fruitwood has a lovely glow and pleasing patina created over the last 240 years. A wonderful piece of Continental furniture that’s bursting with historic charm.
