A neat-sized leather oak Thebes type stool, with solid oak frame with curved top with the seat made from intertwined leather straps held in place by brass studs, resting on four square legs with slight chamfering on the inside, the legs are brace by conforming stretchers towards the top of the leg, the underside with the makers label of ‘Arthur W Simpson, Kendall’ with registration numbers on the left and on the right hand side.
