An exceptional English colonial campaign chiffonier of solid ebony with a palisander top and ivory inlay and trim. With a central section including two clear glazed doors, a central shelf and original lock. A rare piece of furniture commissioned by aristocracy to be dismantled so that it could be taken house to house, on travels or in times of war. Extremely well made and of good solid weight.
