Circa 1900, Refectory Table by Whytock & Reid of Edinburgh after a design by Sir Robert Lorimer. This rectangular table with quarter sawn oak segments on the top and a burr elm panel in the centre, and half rounded fore-edges. It stands on a substantial base with trestle end supports, in the shape of a heart, with stretchers locked in position by pegs. The base of the heart shaped trestle end is stepped with a cut out section in the centre.

Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh. With 50,000sq ft over five floors we offer a wide range of quality Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian furniture, as well as continental and small decorative items. Our stock is constantly changing.
