Circa 1910. A good quality walnut S-shaped roll top desk by Angus of London. The rectangular top with rounded corners over an S-shaped slatted shutter with elegant brass escutcheon – (with makers name is stamped on it), inside is a large writing surface, pigeon holes, drawers and slides, Externally the desk is paneled on all sides, making it free standing. Desk supported on two banks of four graduating drawers, with large curved and moulded handles. Above the top drawers, there are two large pull out slides for extra writing surface.

Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh. With 50,000sq ft over five floors we offer a wide range of quality Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian furniture, as well as continental and small decorative items. Our stock is constantly changing.
