Circa 1870, mid Victorian walnut and burr walnut free standing library table. The figured burr walnut top has a thumb moulded edge and shallow apron (veneered in burr) with beading beneath. It stands on 2 trestle ends, with a crossover stretcher and on either side squat cabriole legs. Ending on brass and white porcelain castors, and the underside of the veneered top is in solid red walnut. Exhibition quality example.
