Circa 1860. A quality mid-Victorian 4 door breakfront quarter sawn oak cabinet bookcase. The stepped moulded cornice with a profusely carved facing, with four full length shaped glazed doors, flanked by carved corbels, with pilasters, and a carved section in the center. Each of the sections has five adjustable shelves, with the facings of the shelves moulded and polished. The base with four doors, each flanked by carved pilasters, the central doors with two massive carved lion masks in a paneled section, with roundels on each of the doors, all resting on an enclosed plinth.
