Late Victorian Oak Steel bound Silver chest circa very well made and robust with 2 good quality solid brass working locks (with keys). Made for the Pearce-Edgcumbe family circa 1895. Sir Edward Robert Pearce-Edgcumbe was a well known and documented Victorian barrister and High Sheriff of Cornwall.
