Circa 1870, stylish Victorian oak Gothic revival hall chair. The solid oak back has a carved top rail and heraldic shield in the centre in a fielded raised panelled. The arms are carved and taper down, and at the arm rest is a Gothic style open section. The solid seat has a fielded panel, and the chair stands on crossover legs united by a large stretcher. The chair is sturdy and good quality.
