Circa 1870, unusual Victorian mahogany and brass stick stand comprising of 2 stylish turned columns with finial tops on each end of an oval base with a well in the centre for sticks and umbrellas. The two uprights have large mahogany bezels and are connected to each other by brass bars. The base is long and oval with a deep apron standing on squat cabriole legs. The uprights have wonderful colour and patination. Useful and functional piece of Victoriana.
