Circa 1860, Victorian mahogany partners desk. The rectangular top has flame mahogany crossbanding and a red leather writing surface with tooling and gilding by Roy Kirby of London. The top has two apertures cut out of it which have been capped in brass for IT and COMMS cables. On the front and back are drawers and cupboards which open to reveal further drawers and slides. The centre drawer at the front is the full width of the desk and is a dummy on the opposing side. The inside gables are polished, the doors are fielded panels with flame mahogany centres and the whole piece stands on an enclosed plinth. Clean, good colour and size.
