Sn2722 Superb quality, Victorian burr walnut cylindrical Davenport, having cushion moulded stationary compartment with domed top and satinwood inlay, cylindrical fall which opens to reveal 2 small drawers, sliding and adjustable, tooled leather writing surface and pen trays, single cupboard door enclosing shelves, flanked by inlaid pilasters and carved columns, all standing on bun feet terminating in brass castors. This exceptional Davenport is satinwood and boxwood inlaid throughout. c1870
