Circa 1860, mid-Victorian burr walnut pedestal cabinet of generous proportions. It has a square top, burr walnut veneers and a half round fore-edge on the front and sides. There is one complete door on the front with a fielded panel in the centre and small cut out sections on the top left and right. This is surmounted by two carved rondels in the form of a flower head. A single knob opens the door and this is carved similar to the two rondels on the top. Inside is a single shelf. Both gables are veneered in running grain walnut. The whole piece stands on an enclosed plinth, which again is veneered in burr walnut.
