Circa 1920, mahogany chest of narrow tall proportions almost in the form of a Wellington chest or filing cabinet. The rectangular top with a simple moulded edge above a configuration of 7 drawers. Each of the drawers has cast brass handles in the form of drops with a simple back plate. There are pilasters left and right with a small proud rounded moulding. Beneath the bottom drawer there is a rounded moulding and an unusual curvaceous shaped plinth at the sides. The whole piece finishes on an enclosed plinth. The chest is clean and neat sized.
